Stylized gold snowflake design.

Low-Risk Entry. More Opportunity.

We're keeping upfront booth fees low so vendors can invest in supplies, inventory, and growing their businesses. Your booth fee counts toward a percentage of your sales, so you only pay more if your commission exceeds what you've already paid.

Operated as a nonprofit initiative by Provo Farmers Market, Utah Valley Christkindlmarkt reinvests revenue into market operations and future events.

How Vendor Fees Work in 3 Simple Steps

Your booth fee counts toward your commission, keeping upfront costs affordable. You only pay more if your sales commission exceeds the fee you've already paid—so you never pay twice.

STEP 1

PAY YOUR
BOOTH FEE

Choose your vendor category and booth tier, then pay your base fee to reserve your space.

This payment counts toward your final commission.

STEP 2

MAKE SALES
AT THE MARKET

Sell your products! Your commission is calculated from total sales before tax.

8% for artisans and packaged foods.
10% for on-site prepared foods and food trucks.

STEP 3

PAY ONLY
THE DIFFERENCE

At the end of the market, we calculate your commission and subtract the booth fee you've already paid.

If your commission is less than or equal to your booth fee, you owe nothing more.

If your commission is higher, you only pay the difference.

Example

People shopping at a Christmas market stall decorated with green garland and lights in a snowy outdoor setting, with a large illuminated star and holiday decorations inside the stall.

Let's say you're an artisan with a Petite booth. You've already paid your $170 base fee.

Example A: Your $170 booth fee already covers your $144 commission. You owe nothing more.

Example B: Your commission is $280, but you've already paid $170. You only owe the remaining $110.

Example A Example B
Total Sales $1,800 $3,500
Commission (8%) $144 $280
Prepaid Base Fee $170 $170
Additional Amount Owed $0 $110

Remember: Your booth fee is never charged again. It's already included in your commission calculation.
